The “Virgo Moon Phases Mutable Shifts” energy engage change reaching within adjusting internal emotional and mental focus to redirect our actions. 

We’re into the eclipse season. Mutable forces engage adjustments. Get ready for a powerful new lunar cycle! It all kicks off with a new moon at the very start of Virgo. This journey will take us through a series of mutable signs, building towards a dramatic moment: a lunar eclipse at 15 degrees Pisces. This first of two eclipses beautifully highlights the dynamic tension between the broad, sweeping consciousness of Pisces and the careful, focused detail of Virgo. Eclipses are a time for redefining and starting fresh. This month is a chance for us to discover how we can serve our truth and nurture those around us. As we move through the Gemini 3rd quarter moon, we’ll be thinking about how to fix what’s broken before the final curtain call before the next cycle: the solar eclipse at 29 degrees Virgo. 

4-MAJOR MOON-PHASE DATES

The moon systematically cycles by transiting from the dark New Moon to the half lit first quarter, entirely lit Full Moon, and half lit third quarter moon phases.The 0°07′ Virgo New Moon August 23, 2025, begins a fixed moon cycle. August 31 is the first quarter moon at 8°07’ Sagittarius.  Followed by the 15°22′ Pisces Lunar Eclipse on September 7. The third quarter on September 14 stays in a mutable sign at 21°52′ Gemini finishing this cycle’s growth as the light wanes holding the seeds for the next new moon cycle. It launches the 2nd eclipse at the anorectic degree of 29° Virgo.
