SPRING EQUINOX! Light Vibrations

Light masters all. Light feeds the circle of life.

The Sun fuels earth. The Sun continually fuses hydrogen atoms to make helium in its core. This process fuses about 600 million tons of hydrogen every second (!), incredibly yielding 596 million tons of helium. The remaining four million tons of hydrogen convert to energy. (StarDate Online reference.) Sunlight’s ever resourceful life-giving, incredible energy that gifts life on earth, along with it’s partners water, and air.

Helios faithfully drives the sun’s chariot across the sky. Yet mythology shares the message about Icarus, reminding us the Sun’s power gives life yet takes life birthed. Icarus refused to heed wisdom’s advice, flying too high where the Sun perilously melted his contrived wings, sinking him into the ocean.

Nature’s integral balance serves the mastery of life’s evolving process. 

Twice each year, the Earth’s axis tilts neither toward nor away from the sun. Resulting at all latitudes above and below earth’s middle equator 0° latitude, a “nearly” equal amount of daylight and darkness.  These astronomical events  are unanimously  referred to as the Equinoxes. Equinox comes from two Latin words – aequus (equal) and nox (night). image 

Beyond the science, lies the art of light.

Shade creates artistic perspective. Not to overlook the emphasis of contrasting shadow. Ansel Adams a great landscape artist only took black and white photographs in recognition of the essential beauty illustrated in ultimate shades of contrasting greys, white to black. This photo similar to his shows the contrasting beauty in the desert where the Sunlight’s heat scorched the water out of land. 

This equinox — hold the moment. Like a twilight, like a candle flickers, gently moving back and forth. It’s pendulum sweeping across the scope of timelessness when the shadows are small beneath a sun overhead. Our hearts seek the burnt embers of a fire well stoked. The hearth where our totems of love harbor in a community of supportive love. Use the water of our laughing tears to grow the seeds deep within sprouting into the Spring Equinox. Our tree of life forever leafing. Forever dropping onto the earth making composted soil, for new seeds birthed.
